Rock scree with algae

Block Chaos forms a habitat rich in hiding places. This is the hunting ground for scorpion fish and gobies. Multicolored algae cover these rocks. The small crustaceans that they shelter are prey sought by wrasses.

Vertical walls

Small vertical walls are ideal for sponges and yellow anemones. The holes in the rock are excellent hiding places for blennies. Screes at the foot of the walls are the realm of gobies.

Flush Rock (“Dry”)

At the southern end of the trail, isolated rock (“dry”) rises near the surface. Exposed to the currents, its vertical walls are colonized by sponges, which filter the water or anemones that capture the plankton with their tentacles.
